Facility
The Inspection Laboratory has a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) capable of reaching micron levels of precision.
The Global Image CMM is equipped with a Renishaw SP25 analogue scanning probe and is used by our highly experienced team of inspectors to accurately measure surface profiles, angles and lengths for individual components as well as complex assemblies.
We can provide detailed inspection reports showing deviation against a nominal design provided in CAD formats including CATIA, STEP and IGES. Data can also be provided in STEP, IGES, and XYZ formats.
Surface roughness can be inspected using a perthometer.
